His

I was his lady of the night

I was his paradise

His escape

He loved me in red

Crimson like his desire

My hair wild against my back

He lead me from the dance floor to the bedroom

Burning bright as we did

A flame too hot to last

Quickly fire turned to ice

My cheeks were once pink from his kiss

Now cool from his indifference

No longer his lover in red

I was his lady in white

Like a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground

Only footsteps remained as he walked away

Oh how he loved me in red

I was his paradise

I was his lady of the night
